
It has trigear. A larger central engine and a driveshaft towards the prop in the rear.
These are the only pictures i found of the Vampyr.








But sadly it never got any further than this. Never was finished.
A few pages i could find on the internet of the plans. They were used during discussions in a Yahoo Group named Ailevolant.





There were also guys busy doing calculations. I found a few graphs.I am not sure if they relate to the Vampyr or if they were made a propose possible changes to the design.




Somebody even made a excel file to do those Colomban calculations for performance if you want to design your own edition of a Pelican/Vampyr. You can get it here. Beware ...it is in French.
Somebody also made a excell with airfoil data of different airfoils for flying planks.
