Eska / some plans

Enought details to start a experiment of your own
I found a few plans of a Russian old design called Eska. The Eska was first test flown in 1973. It used the same wing platform of Lippisch, the reverse delta.
It had a motorcycle engine of 32 HP. Eska was intended as a rescue vehicle.
Maximum take off weight was 440 kg (970 lbs) of which 220 (485 lbs) were payload. The most effective flights were done at heights of 0,3 to 1,5 m (1 to 4,9 feet). But the Eska (with 50% payload) was capable to climb to 50 m (54,7 yard) to go over obstacles. Fully loaded it could get a speed of 122 km/h (76 mph) in ground effect. Range was 300-350 km (186 - 218 miles).
There was only one prototype. But ... it was used TEN years as a shuttle over the Volga river.
These plans might be of help if you want to make a scale model to have some fun or use it as research material for a full scale fun project.

here follow a collection of pictures i found of the Eska. You will notice that it is hard to believe my first writing about the Eska. Why? Well ... you see here the Eska with tractor prop, with pusher prop and with dual engines. Was it always the same prototype? Or were there more than 1 Eska?
