Type of airplane

It might be that you are totally fixed on one type of airplane. You have that right. But ...keep in mind that all types of airplanes have their advantages and disadvantages. Make sure you can live with the disadvantages of your choice. 

  • Hanggliders are larger to pack.
  • Paragliders are the first to stop flying when the wind increases, unless they go ridge soaring.
  • Large gliders need a team to get you in the air.
  • Motorised airplanes need fuel. So there is a extra cost.

There are just a few examples.

If you can live with the consequences of your choice, you made a good choice. If not, you probably spend a lot of money for something that is not your style. Beware. Your choice is important. The limits of your choice even more.
